Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has expressed his condolences to UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the people of the United Arab Emirates following the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

In a post on X, Barzani extended his “deepest condolences and sincere sympathy” to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as to the UAE’s leadership, government, and people.

Barzani expressed profound sorrow over the death and prayed for God to “envelop the departed in His boundless mercy and forgiveness” and admit him to Paradise.

He also offered prayers for patience and solace for Sheikh Ahmed’s family, relatives, and loved ones, concluding with the Qur’anic verse: “Indeed, to God we belong, and to Him we shall return.”
