Fire Exchange Between Syrian Regime, Rebels Leaves 15 Dead
The recent attacks in the region have violated a Russian-Turkish ceasefire deal which was signed only seven months ago. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed that 45 people had been killed in the last five days alone, most of them by government’s shelling of rebel-held areas, as cited by Reuters.
However, the Syrian regime’s shelling killed on Sunday seven individuals in the rebel-held area of Nerab, while it left dead three others in the rebel-held Saraqeb, the report added, citing the civil defense rescue workers.
Meanwhile, another five people were killed by the rebels’ rocket attack in the government-held Masyaf, state media reported.
