Three Kurdish Citizens Commit Suicide in One Week in Iran: Monitor
ERBIL - At least three Kurdish citizens have committed suicide this week in Iran due to poverty in the country, a monitoring group reported on Sunday.

In the first incident, Ali Mir Mirai, the father of a child in the Kurdish city of Ilam, shot himself dead on Sunday morning, Hangaw Organization for Human Rights said.

A Kurdish woman, meanwhile, killed herself by hanging her self inside her house on Saturday, the monitoring group continued, pointing out that she was identified as Mina Shahidi, 38, the mother of three young children.

According to the human rights group, another Kurdish teenage named Omed Haidari, 17, from the city of Mehr had committed suicide earlier the week by taking poisonous pills.
