In a written statement, Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, warned of reprisals following the latest U.S. strikes, signaling that further escalation may be imminent.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon rejected Iran's claims that two oil tankers exploded near the Strait of Hormuz as a result of U.S. actions, disputing Tehran's account of the incident.
