Donald Trump said on Saturday that he will soon review a newly submitted peace proposal from Iran, but expressed strong skepticism about its acceptability.

In a post published on his platform, Truth Social, Trump indicated that while the proposal is under consideration, he does not expect it to meet expectations.

“I will soon be reviewing the plan that Iran has just sent to us, but can’t imagine that it would be acceptable,” he wrote, adding that Iran “has not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done to humanity and the world over the last 47 years.”

Trump’s remarks suggest a hardline stance toward Tehran as discussions or tensions continue over diplomatic and geopolitical issues between the two sides.
