Another Mass Grave of Yezidis Found in Sinjar
Issa Sa'do, a Yezidi activist, who also works as a journalist, said in a statement that the grave, which includes around 10 bodies, was found near the Sinjar Police Directorate.
He said that other four mass graves of the minority group were found in the region, but the bodies have been burned by the extremists, pointing out that a total of 84 graves have so far been discovered in Sinjar since 2014.
The Islamic State insurgent group attacked Iraq in 2014, and soon overan the Yezidi majority populated region of Sinjar, killing hundreds from the minority religious group, and abducting over 6,000 others, the majority of whom were women and children.
