Syrian Forces Attack Turkish Observation Post: Report
A couple of Turkish officials told Reuters that no casualties were reported from the incident which occurred in northwestern Syria.
Earlier on Monday, Turkey was attempting to send a military convoy to an observation post in Syria before it was halted due to an airstrike.
Monday's air raid reportedly resulted in the killing of three civilians, the report added.
Based on an agreement with Moscow and Tehran, Ankara has a total of 12 observation posts in northwestern Syria.
Turkish presidential spokesperson, Ibrahim Kalin, said that all of his country's observation posts in Syria will remain in place, ensuring the continuation of support to them.
