ERBIL — Parliament of Kurdistan Region has officially set a session for Wednesday to vote on the new cabinet of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), after which PM-designate Masrour Barzani, and his cabinet ministers will take oath at the legislative.

According to parliament’s session agenda, the lawmakers will give confidence to the cabinet, the prime minister and the ministers on 10th July this week.

After taking the official oath as the prime minister, Masrour Barzani will introduce his cabinet agenda before the lawmakers, according to an official statement by the parliament.

Previously, a spokesperson for leading Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) told reporters that all party participants of the new cabinet have already submitted the list of their nominees for the new KRG cabinet.

He noted that the cabinet lineup will be sent to the parliament today as part of the legal preparations for Wednesday’s session.
