ERBIL — Another explosion hit a village in the suburb of Kirkuk early morning on Friday, leaving at least two people killed.

BasNews has learned that the explosion was carried out via an improvised explosive devise (IED) in the village of Um Tayyib, near Hawija district of Kirkuk province.

The men killed by the blast are said to be brothers.

Another person from the same family was seriously injured, a source told BasNews.

Earlier on Thursday, a roadside bomb hit a passenger bus in Kirkuk and killed one civilian with 11 others injured.
