ERBIL — The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, arrived in Turkey on Friday where he will meet with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The meeting is scheduled for 14:00 (Turkey Time) today.

This is Barzani’s first visit to Turkey since he took office earlier this month on 10 June.

Barzani was in Baghdad a day earlier where he met with Iraqi president, prime minister and parliament speakers.

He wrote on his Facebook later that Kurdistan Region is committed to work with Baghdad so to find a solution within the framework of the Iraqi Constitution and address their disputes.
