ERBIL — Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, is scheduled visit Iraq on Wednesday heading a high-level delegation.

The office of Kuwaiti Emir and ministry of foreign affairs confirmed the state visit, as reported by KUNA.

Sabah will hold meetings with Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi, Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi and other senior officials while in Baghdad.

He is expected to focus on bilateral ties between Kuwait and Iraq as well as regional developments.
