Kurdistan Security Chief Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Sri Lanka
ERBIL — Chancellor of Kurdistan Region Security Council, Masrour Barzani, condemned terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka on Sunday which which killed and injured hundreds of people.

“I strongly condemn today’s heinous attacks in Sri Lanka. My condolences are with the people and government during this difficult time,” Barzani wrote on Twitter.

He wished “a speedy recovery” for those injured in the attacks.

Latest reports said the death toll of eight blasts in Sri Lanka raised to 207 people with more than 450 others injured.

The blasts targeted churches and hotels while Christians were celebrating Easter. The government has declared curfew across the country while investigations are underway.
