Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Receives New Ambassador of Switzerland to Iraq
Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Peter Nelson, the new Ambassador of Switzerland to Iraq, on Sunday.
They exchanged views on the developments in Iraq and the wider region, as well as bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Barzani congratulated Ambassador Nelson on assuming his new role, wished him success in his work, and reaffirmed the KRG’s support for his mission.
Ambassador Nelson expressed Switzerland’s readiness to strengthen relations with the Kurdistan Region, particularly in economic cooperation and trade.
