Kurdish Leaders Extend Greetings on the Occasion of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — Kurdish leaders have extended their congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), calling for peace, brotherhood, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
President Masoud Barzani congratulated Muslims on the occasion, expressing hope that the blessed anniversary would bring peace, security, goodness, happiness, and justice to Kurdistan, Iraq, the region, and the wider world. He also prayed for divine mercy and blessings upon the people of Kurdistan, Iraq, and all humanity.
Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, also extended his warmest congratulations to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world. He said the occasion should serve as an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among all communities.
Nechirvan Barzani further called for renewed commitment to the Prophet Muhammad’s message, guidance, and noble values, including goodness, justice, peace, and compassion. He expressed hope that these values would contribute to building a more stable and peaceful future, wishing everyone a year filled with goodness and happiness.
Meanwhile, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, extended his heartfelt congratulations and sincere best wishes to Muslims in Kurdistan and around the world.
Prime Minister Barzani expressed hope that the anniversary would help promote a culture of peaceful coexistence among the diverse communities and groups of Kurdistan, while strengthening the foundations of brotherhood, peace, and harmony among nations and peoples worldwide.
