KRG Sets Minimum Monthly Pension for Private Sector Workers
The Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) Council of Ministers has, with the approval of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, unanimously approved a decision to set a minimum monthly pension for retired private sector workers.
The minimum monthly pension has now been set at IQD 500,000. To facilitate implementation, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Finance and Economy will now facilitate implementation by drafting and then issuing the necessary instructions.
