President Barzani Receives Iraqi Army Chief of Staff
President Masoud Barzani received a high-level Iraqi military delegation today, Sunday, June 14, 2026, headed by Lieutenant General Special Forces Staff Officer Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army.
During the meeting, the political and security situation in Iraq and the region was discussed.
The two sides also emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination between the relevant institutions and authorities of the federal government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in order to maintain security and stability and to achieve development and prosperity.
