Iran Launches Drone and Base Attacks Amid US Strikes on Iranian Radar Systems
Kuwait has reported intercepting drones in its airspace, while Bahrain briefly sounded air-raid sirens amid rising regional tensions. The developments come after the United States said it had shot down Iranian drones and carried out strikes on Iranian radar sites.
According to official statements, Iran has also launched attacks on US military bases located in the Gulf region. The Iranian government described its actions as a response to US strikes conducted along its coastal areas, escalating a cycle of retaliation between the two sides.
The United States maintains that its forces successfully intercepted incoming Iranian drones and targeted radar installations believed to be linked to the attacks.
Separately, Iranian officials claim that support staff connected to its World Cup squad have been denied visas to enter the United States, adding another layer of diplomatic strain amid already heightened tensions.
