Middle East Tensions Escalate as Kuwait Faces Aerial Attacks, US Strikes Iran, and Beirut Hit

Kuwait came under aerial attack on Monday as regional tensions intensified following a series of military confrontations involving the United States, Iran, and Israel.

Kuwaiti authorities said the country's air defense systems were actively responding to incoming missile and drone threats, though details on damage or casualties were not immediately available.

The escalation follows US military operations targeting radar installations and drone sites inside Iran. American officials said the strikes were aimed at degrading Iranian military capabilities amid growing security concerns in the region.

In response, Iran's paramilitary Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had launched retaliatory strikes against a US military base, describing the action as a direct response to the American attacks on Iranian territory.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had ordered the Israeli military to strike targets in Beirut's southern suburbs, an area known to be a stronghold of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
