Nechirvan Barzani held a telephone conversation last night with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, during which the two officials discussed strengthening ties between Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and Iran.

During the call, the Kurdistan Region President and the Iranian foreign minister emphasized the importance of expanding economic and trade cooperation, as well as enhancing coordination on border security issues. They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and stressed the need for joint efforts among regional countries to preserve security and stability across the Middle East.

The conversation further addressed several matters of mutual interest, reflecting ongoing dialogue and cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and Iran on political, economic, and security affairs.
