President Barzani Receives Delegation from Najaf Governorate to Discuss Political and Development Cooperation
President Masoud Barzani received a delegation from Najaf Governorate on Monday, 18 May 2026, which included Governor Yusuf Kanaoui and members of the Najaf Provincial Council.
According to information from the meeting, discussions focused on the current political situation in Iraq and broader national developments. Both sides also reviewed the long-standing historical relations between the Kurdistan Region and Najaf Governorate.
