Iran Reviews Latest US Proposal
Donald Trump said the latest round of talks between the United States and Iran was “very good,” as Tehran confirmed on Wednesday that it is reviewing Washington’s newest proposal before delivering its response through Pakistan.
According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the proposal remains “under review,” adding that Tehran will communicate its official position after “finalizing its views.” Pakistan is expected to play a mediating role in passing the response between the two sides.
The diplomatic developments come amid heightened tensions across the Middle East. On Wednesday, Israel carried out strikes on Beirut for the first time since the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, raising concerns over renewed regional instability.
Meanwhile, the United States Department of State reportedly warned staff members against using confidential or non-public information to place bets on prediction market platforms such as Polymarket and Kalshi.
