The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, held a telephone conversation with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the United Arab Emirates, as well as recent regional developments.

According to a statement shared on X, Barzani emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation and enhancing ties between the two sides. The discussion also addressed ongoing security concerns in the region.

During the call, Barzani reiterated the Kurdistan Region’s support for the UAE and strongly condemned the recent attacks targeting the country. He underscored the need for collective efforts to preserve peace and stability across the region, highlighting the importance of dialogue and cooperation in addressing current challenges.
