The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, has extended his congratulations to the Yezidi community in Kurdistan and around the world on the occasion of the Yezidi New Year.

In a message posted on the social media platform X (Twitter), Prime Minister Barzani conveyed his warmest greetings to Yezidi sisters and brothers, expressing hope that they would celebrate the occasion in peace and tranquility.

Barzani also reaffirmed the Kurdistan Regional Government’s continued support for the rights and legitimate demands of the Yezidi community, emphasizing the government’s commitment to standing by them.

He concluded his message by wishing the Yezidi people happiness and joy on the occasion of their New Year.
