The Kurdistan Region President received a phone call from Mr. Tom Barrack, conveying a message from U.S. President Donald Trump.

In the call, President Trump strongly condemned the recent attacks on the Kurdistan Region, including the drone strike targeting the Kurdistan Region President’s residence in Duhok. He expressed sympathy to the president and extended condolences to the families of the martyrs, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

Ambassador Barrack also reaffirmed President Trump’s and the United States’ full support for maintaining security and stability in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. The Kurdistan Region President thanked him for the call and reiterated appreciation for the U.S. stance and support.
