Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, received a phone call from Tom Berendsen, the newly appointed Foreign Minister of the Netherlands, during which the two officials discussed regional developments and bilateral relations.

During the conversation, President Barzani congratulated Berendsen on assuming his new position and wished him success in his duties. He also expressed appreciation for the continued support and cooperation that the Netherlands has provided to the Kurdistan Region over the years.

Both sides exchanged views on the latest developments related to ongoing conflicts in the region and the broader international situation.
