President Masoud Barzani has extended his congratulations to Christians in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and across the world on the occasion of Christmas and the New Gregorian New Year.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Barzani conveyed his warmest wishes to Christian communities, expressing hope for happiness, prosperity, and joy. He emphasized the importance of strengthening a culture of coexistence and fraternity among all religious and ethnic components in the Kurdistan Region.

Barzani also voiced his hope that Christians would continue to celebrate their religious occasions in an environment of security and peace, stressing the Kurdistan Region’s commitment to pluralism and mutual respect.
