President Masoud Barzani has issued two separate congratulatory messages marking important political and international developments.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Toilers’ Party, President Barzani sent a message of congratulations to the party’s secretary, Political Bureau, and leadership. He extended his best wishes to the party’s leaders, cadres, members, and supporters, wishing them continued success and prosperity. In his message, President Barzani acknowledged the role and sacrifices of the Kurdistan Toilers’ Party throughout various stages of the Kurdish people’s struggle and expressed hope for reconciliation and brotherhood among Kurdistani political parties, as well as progress toward the just cause of the people of Kurdistan.

In a separate development, President Barzani also congratulated Dr. Barham Salih on assuming the position of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. During a phone call, President Barzani expressed his pleasure at a Kurdish figure taking on such an important role at the United Nations level and wished Dr. Salih success and prosperity in fulfilling his new international responsibilities.
