Strategic Rural Road Project Completed in Soran, Boosting Local Economy and Connectivity
In a significant step towards enhancing rural infrastructure, the Besha village road project in the Soran administration has been officially completed and inaugurated, marking a new chapter in connectivity and development for local residents.
The newly unveiled project, which involved the comprehensive rehabilitation, construction, and asphalt paving of a 3.5-kilometer roadway, was executed with an investment of 720 million dinars. The road features a modern width of 6 meters, designed to accommodate increased traffic flow and improve safety.
In a parallel initiative to bolster community services, a new water network has also been installed throughout the village areas, ensuring better access to a essential resource for the inhabitants.
Strategically, this new artery serves as a vital link, connecting the surrounding villages to both the Sidekan district and the central Soran district. Officials highlight that the project is expected to have a transformative impact, specifically targeting the revival of the agricultural sector by facilitating the transport of goods to markets. Furthermore, it is seen as a cornerstone for the broader rehabilitation and development of the region's villages.
