Prime Minister receives Ambassador of Japan
Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Akira Endo, Ambassador of Japan to Iraq, today.
They discussed strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Japan, the overall situation in Iraq, and preparations for the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections.
Ambassador Endo highlighted Japan’s ongoing activities and projects in the Kurdistan Region through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Prime Minister Barzani expressed his appreciation for Japan’s continued support and cooperation, particularly through JICA’s projects, and underscored the importance of drawing on Japan’s expertise in the fields of industry, education, and economic development.
