Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has extended his congratulations to the Union of Islamic Scholars in Kurdistan on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of its founding.

In his message, Prime Minister Barzani expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the president and members of the executive office, as well as to all esteemed scholars across Kurdistan. He praised the Union’s longstanding contributions to promoting the values of Islam and its noble humanitarian principles.

The Prime Minister highlighted the Union’s role in countering extremist ideologies, strengthening the path of moderation, and fostering a culture of peaceful coexistence among the diverse communities of Kurdistan.

Barzani concluded by reaffirming the government’s deep appreciation for the Union’s important mission and the efforts of religious scholars in advancing peace and tolerance in society.
