In a significant step toward strengthening the healthcare infrastructure in the Kurdistan Region, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani officially inaugurated the new Children’s Hospital in Zakho on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

During a tour of the hospital’s facilities and departments, the Prime Minister praised the high-quality design and construction, as well as the state-of-the-art medical equipment with which the hospital is equipped. He expressed hope that the new facility will provide children in the area with advanced healthcare services, reducing the need for families to travel outside the region for treatment.

Prime Minister Barzani reiterated his government’s commitment to serving the people of Kurdistan and ensuring access to essential services across the Region.
