President Nechirvan Barzani Celebrates 32nd Anniversary of Lalesh Cultural Centre, Reaffirms Support for Yezidi Community
Erbil, Kurdistan Region – On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Lalesh Cultural Centre, President Nechirvan Barzani extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Centre’s staff and the wider Yezidi community, praising their dedication and contributions to preserving and promoting Kurdish and Yezidi heritage.
In a statement released today, President Barzani commended the Centre’s efforts and services, stating, "My sincere gratitude goes to the management and all employees for their hard work. I wish them continued success in their endeavors."
He reaffirmed his unwavering support for the Lalesh Cultural Centre’s initiatives, emphasizing its vital role in enriching Kurdish culture, particularly Yezidi traditions. "I remain committed to supporting its mission to promote Kurdish culture, especially Yezidi culture, as an essential part of our shared heritage," he said.
