Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani Meets King Abdullah II in Amman to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
His Excellency Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, met with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan today in Amman to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Jordan, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region.
The high-level meeting focused on expanding collaboration in political, economic, and security sectors, as well as addressing key regional and international developments. President Barzani expressed his gratitude for Jordan’s steadfast support for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, praising the historical friendship between the two sides.

In a separate meeting, Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani met with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, to discuss deepening relations between Erbil and Amman.
The discussions centered on ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, and regional security. Both sides reviewed the latest regional developments and underscored the importance of joint efforts to maintain stability in the Middle East.
