The bodies of six individuals were discovered inside a villa in the village of Talatepe, near the city of Urmia in eastern Kurdistan, authorities confirmed on Monday. The cause of death remains unknown, prompting an immediate investigation.

Farzin Rezazadeh, head of Urmia’s rescue services, reported that a rescue team was dispatched to the village after receiving an emergency alert. Upon arrival, officials found the bodies of four men and two women, all believed to be between 30 and 40 years old.

“At this stage, the circumstances surrounding their deaths are unclear,” Rezazadeh stated. “Forensic teams and investigators are working to determine the cause.”

Local authorities have not yet released further details, including the identities of the deceased or possible motives. However, the incident has raised concerns among residents, with speculation ranging from poisoning to foul play.
