President Nechirvan Barzani Extends Eid al-Fitr Greetings, Calls for Unity and Peace
Nechirvan Barzani, President of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, extended warm Eid al-Fitr wishes to Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and worldwide, emphasizing the holiday’s values of reconciliation, tolerance, and solidarity.
In his message, President Barzani particularly honored the families of martyrs, expressing hopes that the occasion would bring them peace, happiness, and prosperity.
“Eid al-Fitr reminds us to renew our commitment to its profound meanings—peace, forgiveness, and humanity,” Barzani stated. “Let us reflect on our relationships and rebuild them on foundations of respect, love, and cooperation.”
