Statement regarding Kurdistan Region’s election
In accordance with Decree No.33 of 25th February 2022, the Kurdistan Regional Government sets 1st October 2022 as the day of the sixth Kurdistan Region parliamentary elections.
Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday issued a decree requiring the Council of Ministers and all relevant institutions to cooperate with the Independent High Electoral Commission, including providing budgetary and other necessary assistance for the election.
