Message from President Barzani

Unfortunately, a number of civilians and Peshmerga were martyred and wounded as a result of the brutal attacks launched by ISIS terrorists last night in Sarjaran and Qarachogh regions.

I express my condolences to the families and relatives of the victims of this terrorist act and share my grief.

I ask Almighty God to rejoice the souls of our holy martyrs in heaven, to reassure their loved ones and families, and to treat the wounded with patience and tranquility.

I grieve for the heroic woman whose three children arrived at the convoy of martyrs as a result of the terrorist attack that occurred last night, and I ask God Almighty to grant her patience and reassurance.

That woman's words to all of us are a source of inspiration and perseverance, and we continue to be grateful for the high standards and judgments of our people.

I also declare that in order to protect and defend our land and nation, we need to review and pay more attention to the work of the Peshmerga forces and defensive lines, and take the necessary measures in the face of any kind of indifference. We must avenge the blood of our martyrs on the enemy as quickly as possible.

Thousands of greetings to the holy souls of the martyrs of the war against ISIS and to all the martyrs of the path to the freedom of Kurdistan.
