This morning, the artillery shells once again shelled several areas bordering the city of Sidakan on the Soran border.

At about 8 a.m. on Monday, Iranian artillery shells again pounded Barbizin Heights in Sedkan near Soran district of Erbil province, according to Basnews.

On Thursday, Iranian artillery bombed for the fourth time several areas of the Kurdistan Region in Sidekan and Haji Omran, and the Iranian Guard used 16 drones in the attacks.

In the past five years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly bombed the bases and barracks of Iranian Kurdish parties in the Kurdistan region with drone strikes and shelling.

The city of Sidekan, located in Soran district, consists of 266 villages, and about 118 villages have been deserted so far due to the presence of PKK bases and barracks, as well as Turkish and Iranian bombing.
