Earthquake hits eastern Turkey
According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey (AFAD), an earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale hit the eastern state of Erzincan at dawn on Wednesday .
In a statement, AFAD said that the earthquake occurred in the district of "Otluq Bali" in the aforementioned state at 00:37 local time (21.37 GMT, with a depth of 7.34 km).
And Anadolu Agency indicated that there was no immediate news of any material or human losses as a result of the earthquake.
