The high Committee of the Sulaymaniyah Operations room, on Saturday, decided to suspend working hours in the governorate departments for a week.

The Committee, during its meeting today, issued a number of decisions, to reduce the outbreak of coronavirus, and discussed the health situation in the province, following the recent rise in infections.

The head of the Corona confrontation operations room in Sulaimaniyah, Hersh Haidar, pointed out that approximately 92.58% of those infected with cornavirus as of April 23 recovered from the disease, and the death rate was 1%, but the numbers have now changed, and the death rate has risen to 2.6 and recovery 39.9%, and infections increase by 7% daily.

The Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region announced on Friday that 228 new cases of coronavirus had been registered, the highest daily rate of the recorded disease to date.
