ERBIL - Kurdistan Region and Iraqi Ministers of Health met on Thursday for talks on closer cooperations between the sides to curb the spread of coronavirus in the region.

A delegation from Kurdistan Region's Health Ministry, led by Minister Saman Barzinji, arrived in Baghdad, the capital city of Iraq, on Thursday, Kurdistan 24 cited its corespondent in the city.

According to the report, the Kurdish delegation is expected to discuss, with their counterparts from the Iraqi health ministry, the budget which has been dedicated to fighting the spread of coronavirus in the country.

They want to ensure that the Kurdistan Region would receive its share from the budget as well as its share of the medical equipment Iraq has lately purchased.
