ERBIL - At least nine other patients of the coronavirus have fully recovered from the virus in Kurdistan Region's Sulaimaniya province, an official confirmed on Monday.

Speaking to BasNews, Sulaimaniya Health Director Sabah Nasraddin pointed out that the nine people were discharged from the hospital and would soon return home.

At least 13 other patients had previously been reported recovered from the novel virus in the Kurdistan Region, while one death was recorded in Sulaimaniya earlier the month.

According to the latest updates, a total of 76 cases of COVID-19 have so far been registered across the Kurdistan Region, the majority of them were in Sulaimaniya.
