Coronavirus: Iran Reports 1,053 New Cases and 129 Deaths in 24 Hours
Health ministry of Iran has also recorded 129 deaths from COVID-19 since Sunday noon, said Kianoosh Jahanpour, a ministry spokesperson.
According to the records, coronavirus has so far taken the life of 853 Iranians.
Jahanpour also noted that 4,996 people have been discharged from hospital after they fully recovered from the disease.
