ERBIL — Kurdistan Region’s Ministry of Planning and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on Monday signed a ‘strategic plan’ of long-term cooperation in Erbil.

Minister Dara Rashid told reporters after the ceremony that the plan is designed to conduct research and reforms as well as development of different sectors in Kurdistan through a 10-year joint work plan.

According to the minister, sectors of health, education, agriculture, industry, environment, electricity, and water resources are among the top priorities of the plan.

“This plan is designed in parallel with and based on the agenda of the 9th cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government,” Rashid added.
