Syria: Nearly 1,000 Aid Workers Killed Since 2011
ERBIL - Nearly 1,000 aid workers have been killed since 2011 in attacks carried out by Russia and the Syrian regime, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), said on Wednesday.

According to the human rights group, a total of 979 humanitarian workers were killed between March 2011 and December 2019, as cited by Anadolu Agency.

It further explained that 882 of the victims were targeted by the Syrian regime, while 97 others lost their lives as a result of the attacks by the Russian bombardments.

The aid workers' facilities and vehicles were hit 1,044 time by the Syrian regime and 403 times by Russia, the monitor concluded.
