ERBIL - Armenia has revealed its plans to open a consulate in Erbil, the capital city of Kurdistan Region, Armenian ambassador to Iraq Hrachya Poladian said on Thursday.

Speaking to Kurdistan 24, Poladian pointed out that his country would open the consulate in Erbil in cooperations with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in the near future.

He further reiterated his country's support to the Kurdistan Region and its people, thanking them for protecting the rights of the Armenian living in the autonomous region.
