Under the supervision of the president of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, a meeting has been held between Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) yesterday to discuss President Barzani and his accompanied delegation's visit to Russia, the current tensions between the region and Baghdad, The prime minister, Nechirvan Barzani's expected visit to Baghdad, Iraqi governorate elections in the Kurdistani areas outside Kurdistan Region borders, and elections in Kurdistan Region.


From Kurdistan Democratic Party, president Massoud Barzani, his Deputy Nechirvan Barzani , Fadhil Merani , Kamal Kirkuki and Muhamad Sur attended the meeting. However, From PUK, Kosrat Rasul Ali, First Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Dr. Barham Ahmed Salih, PUK’s Second Deputy Secretary General, Mala Bakhtiar, Omar Fatah, and Hakim Qadir members of the PUK Political Bureau attended the meeting.
