Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani received Andrew Bizley, the British Consul General to the Kurdistan Region, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure.

During the meeting, the Kurdistan Region President expressed his appreciation for Mr. Bizley’s contributions to strengthening relations between the United Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region throughout his tenure. He also wished the outgoing Consul General success in his future endeavors.

For his part, Mr. Bizley thanked the Kurdistan Region President and the relevant authorities in the Kurdistan Region for their support and cooperation during his time in office. He reaffirmed the United Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening relations and expanding cooperation with the Kurdistan Region.
