Acting on the directive of Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and as part of efforts to ease the financial burden on citizens, the Ministry of Natural Resources has announced a reduction in gasoline prices across the market.

Under the new pricing policy, the price of regular government-supplied gasoline has been set at IQD 750 per liter, while the price of regular commercial gasoline must not exceed IQD 850 per liter.

The ministry also warned that any fuel station found selling regular commercial gasoline above the maximum price of IQD 850 per liter will face legal action in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The Ministry of Natural Resources said the measure is intended to protect consumers and ensure that fuel is sold at the newly established price ceiling.
