Kurdistan Region Presidency expresses gratitude to the President of Türkiye
We express our sincere appreciation to His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Türkiye, for his directive issued today during his meeting with President Nechirvan Barzani, regarding the resumption of Turkish Airlines flights to Sulaymaniyah and the reopening of Turkish airspace for flights from Sulaymaniyah.
This decision is a testament to the robust relationship between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Türkiye, which we believe will significantly enhance mutual cooperation for the benefit of both sides. It will particularly serve the interests of our citizens in Sulaymaniyah.
